Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, I praise the LORD for the way He blessed our online auction. Including a gift given last Sunday, our auction grossed over $7,100. With fees our net will be less, but this will help our school finish the year in the black. When I consider the donations we did not receive because of COVID and changing the date twice because of COVID and changing the format and eliminating the concessions because of COVID, I feel like we had a successful auction!
Many people came to church today to clean, repair, and replace lights bulbs. Classrooms were sanitized. Wait until you see how different the entry and auditorium look. A hearty thank you to the many hands who came today.
Pastor Shaeffer is preaching tomorrow morning. He is continuing his walk through Luke’s record of the Sermon on the Mount. We will have Church Dinner for those who choose to stay. For our after-dinner devotions, I will be in 1 Samuel 11 – Nahash the Ammonite and the people of Jabesh-Gilead.
Let me end today with Psalm 100. Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! 2 Serve the Lord with gladness;
Come before His presence with singing. 3 Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. 4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. 5 For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.
