Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 29:1-2 “Give unto the Lord, O you mighty ones, Give unto the Lord glory and strength. 2 Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.” What else is there to do? What other options make sense? May we with all we have today worship and glorify our Holy Creator.
Tony and Linda had asked the Wednesday evening group to pray for his brother and family because they had COVID. Tony called me last evening to say that his brother John had passed away. Please pray for comfort and strength for Tony, Linda, and John’s family. Because of the training he had received through the Exchange, Tony had been able to walk through the gospel with John and lead him to pray. Tony’s grief today is not without hope!
Lola’s Thursday doctor appointments went well. She may be off meds soon!
I am stronger every day that I am further from my treatments. Thank you for your love and prayers.
Charlie tells me there were 16 teens at their home for a Bible study last evening. Praise God! Pray for our teens to be godly and to understand that they are the church.
We have a Men’ Meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. I will be in 1 Peter 4:12-19 “Suffer as a Christian.” Believe it or not, I think this will be an encouraging sermon. Charlie is our evening preacher. He will return to his Genesis series.
Pray for protection from COVID for our ministries and community. Pray for those who hurt. Pray for God’s Word to be stronger than this world in our thinking. Pray for our missionaries in these strange times.
