Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 84:12 “O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in You.”
I don’t know about you, but the lengthening of the daylight brings a smile to my heart. I’m always glad to see the darkest months behind us. This Sunday is Daylight Savings. Spring your clock forward an hour so you are not late for Sunday School. Then return in the daylight for our evening service!
Our mortgage with National Exchange is done. I made a final payment on our principle after this past Sunday’s offering. Rejoice with me! Our budget will care for the remaining interest this month. I have instructed Beth to take the Parking Lot and Roof chart out of the bulletin. I would ask the Financial Secretaries to return to givers any funds so designated. This fund is now obsolete. I look forward to having this gone when we report to the Congregation at our April meeting. As we budget for our next fiscal year, this is one item we will not have to address.
The Junior and Senior High students of TBS are going to Watertown tomorrow for the WACS Academic Competition. Pray for our safety and learning.
On Saturday, 10 of us will be receiving first aide training at the church. We pray that we will never need to use what we will learn.
On Sunday afternoon, March 10, at 5:00 p.m. there will be a Men’s Meeting. This is an opportunity for all the men of the church to come together for a “committee-of-the-whole” review of finances and projects.
My heart and mind are already turned to the Lord’s Day. May the Spirit of God encouraged and strengthen us as we come together.
Pray for Suzanne G. I’m thinking she might be about ready to get out of her apartment! Pray for the families who lost grandparents this week.
Embracing Truth. Equipping Saints.
