Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 56:3-4 “Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. 4 In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?” Pastor Charlie preached to us last evening from Psalm 91 on the theme of trust. Note the time of trust here – when I am afraid. Note the source of trust – in God. Our lives are very uncertain. If we try to control other people or our circumstances we will live in fear and anger. It is always better to trust. Trust in God is our basis for all other trust.

There is so much to pray for. Joe C passed along this prayer request for his nephew: “After getting second and third opinions, AJ is scheduled for IVC Reconstruction at Northwestern on March 14th (my mom’s bday and my lucky charm). The procedure will take 4-5 hours and because it’s done through 2 small incisions, it is considered, minimally invasive. They will gain access through his jugular and femoral veins and meet in the middle to do this amazing work. AJ will have stents placed through his IVC and both legs. The hope is that after blood is flowing back to his heart correctly, AJ will be able to have his life back. It will look different but that’s okay.

Thank you all for your continued thoughts and prayers. It helps so much to feel the love from others.”
