Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family,

Psalm 14:1 “The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none who does good.” The fool says “no” to God.

I want to update you on a couple of prayer requests. Pastor Siedschlag had surgery today to repair damage from his accident on Monday. Sharon said the surgeon thought things went well, but that there was a lot of damage he could not see until he got in. Roger has months of rehab ahead of him. Continue to pray for the Siedschlags!

We had prayed for Matt M’s boss’s daughter, Hazel. She is still in a coma. They have learned that a tumor caused the aneurism. They expect brain damage. Pray for this 12 year old and her family. Pray for Matt to be a testimony to Jesus before them.

Saturday, September 21st is our annual Cider Press and Chili Dump. This family event begins at noon at the Carter’s home. Bring some chili to add to the pot and something else to go with it. Plates, etc will be provided. Bring apples you want to add to the mix. Bring a lawn chair and stay as long as you’d like. (Well, until Sue tells you that you are need to go.) Remember, parents, your children are yours to supervise.

This Sunday I am in 1 Timothy 2:8-15 “Women in Worship.” Our two adult Sunday School classes are “New Members” and Attributes of God.” Sunday evening at 5:00 p.m. we have choir practice for both children and adults. (Teens may be in the adult choir.) Pastor Shaeffer is our preacher in the 6:30 p.m. hour. This sounds like a fun Lord’s Day to me!
