Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 20:1-5 May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble; May the name of the God of Jacob defend you; 2 May He send you help from the sanctuary, And strengthen you out of Zion; 3 May He remember all your offerings, And accept your burnt sacrifice. Selah 4 May He grant you according to your heart’s desire, and fulfill all your purpose. 5 We will rejoice in your salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners! May the Lord fulfill all your petitions.
As this Sunday is the first Sunday of the month, we will have Lord’s Table. At Lord’s Table we often receive a second offering for a specific cause. Doug Boisvert, Modular Mobile Missions, has let us know about a need. Study tools for Mongolian pastors have been translated and are ready for publishing. Funds are needed to complete this project. Doug has been teaching/training these church leaders for years. Our second offering this Sunday will go to Doug’s mission board for the purpose of publishing those needed materials.
I’m making waffles, sausage, and eggs for Men’s Prayer Breakfast this Saturday morning in the church basement. I understand there will be donuts too. If you have not yet signed up, give me a shout. We meet and eat at 8:00 a.m. and then pray.
We will not have an evening service this Sunday, September 3rd. Rather we are going visiting to let people know about our Awana Clubs. There will be information available on Sunday morning or you can stop by the church at 6:30 p.m.
Know that the LORD is good. He alone is worthy of our trust.
