Sunday we will have Lord’s Table. I am preaching from John 11 – “Do you believe?”
On Sunday morning, we will take some time to bless Randy and Jan Martin. The Martins have been friends of Lin and me for 32 1/2 years. They uprooted themselves from their home in Illinois and brought their 4 sons to Fond du Lac 25 years ago to be a part of the ministry at Trinity Baptist Church. Although not compensated as staff, Randy and Jan have led and been a great blessing to this church in many ways. They believe God has now led them to Arkansas to join Family Life Ministries. Our Outreach Committee has asked that we use our Lord’s Table offering this month to help them in their new calling.
Our Sunday evening service is our annual Congregational Meeting. I encourage every member to be here. As a church with a congregational form of church authority, it is important that members are informed and participate. I intend to have reports on the back table on Sunday morning.
