Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 17:15 As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake in Your likeness. When I read this earlier in the week, it brought me joy. Like David, I have confidence that one great day I will awake to see the face of God and I will be like Him in ways I cannot now imagine.

Linda M has asked us to pray for her brother Steve. He has been released from the hospital to hospice. She has asked specifically that we pray for his salvation. He has heard and rejected the gospel. He says he is not afraid of death or hell. Pray too for his unsaved family members.

We begin a new adult Sunday School Trimester this Lord’s Day. Pastor Charlie is going to be walking through the book of 1st Corinthians between now and the end of this year. If you are not currently benefitting from our adult Bible studies during the 8:45 a.m. SS hour, I encourage you to take advantage of this new series and join us.

Last week I talked about Christians being a new race of humanity. What is the purpose of this race? It is a MYSTERY! Come learn the truth of Paul’s mystery on Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Charlie will return to his Genesis series on Sunday evening. We have a Finance Committee meeting this week at 5:30 p.m. Also we begin a new choir year at 5:00 p.m. this Lord’s Day.

We are going to publish a new picture directory. Pictures will be taken this coming Monday and Tuesday. I believe almost everyone has signed up. If you have any questions, see Beth B on Sunday or email her at bbraker@trinityfdl.net.

Pastor Charlie is going to take a van load of 9th-12th graders to check out MBU on Monday. It’s free! They will meet at the church at 7:30 a.m. and return by the end of our school day. If you have interest or questions, contact Pastor Charlie this weekend.

It’s hard to believe, but we are done with 3 weeks of this school year and have 2 Awana nights under our belt. God has blessed TBC with many children and both these ministries are off to a great start. Pray for the new families we have – especially in Awana. Pray that we might be a tool of God’s grace to bring the gospel into homes and see people saved.

Pray for God’s Word to change us. Pray for unity in our homes and our Congregation. Pray for our governments and her leaders.

Embracing Truth, Pastor
