Thank you for praying for VBS. We had a good week at God’s Great Zoo. We saw the conversion of “Dr. Blackstone” and learned much about God’s creation. The Troesters shared with us many stories about God’s work through them to many people in Mozambique.
Pray for our service at the Kohler picnic today. Twenty of us will leave church at 2:00 p.m. today and again at 6:30 a.m. tomorrow to serve at Kohler’s annual picnic. This is a fund raiser for Trinity Baptist School. Pray for strength and that our testimony be honoring to Jesus.
Ron H was in the hospital last week but is out and doing better. Linda M experienced some trauma while traveling. Her son was able to come to her aid and she is doing better now. Pray for Jean, Carolyn, Anita, and others who are hurting. I believe Cora’s baby is coming soon.
Young Adults are invited to a picnic tomorrow, Saturday, July 27, at 4:30 p.m. at the Brakers.
Missionary Lloyd Peace is representing ABWE at EAA today and tomorrow. He will be reporting to us concerning his family and their ministry Sunday, July 28, during the adult/teen Sunday School hour. He is our morning preacher this week. Pray for his ministry at EAA. ABWE is in need of pilots for their ministry. He is here to recruit.
Sunday is Church Dinner Day! After lunch I will be bringing a short message from Hosea 4. We will see the “charges” God brings against Samaria.
Men’s Retreat is next Thursday through Saturday, August 1-3. We are camping at Glen Beulah’s Group campsite. There is a sign in the back of the auditorium. If you are planning to come, WE NEED YOU TO SIGN UP BY SUNDAY so we can plan food. You can come for all 3 days or just one meal or just for the bonfire and conversation. Your vehicle does need a State Park sticker.
Rejoice in the many goodnesses of God to you. God is always right and He is always good. Praise His Name.
