Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family,
In adult Sunday School we have been learning about the attributes of God. We learned that God is Justice. Psalm 50 speaks of the judgment and justice of God. Hear how it ends: Psalm 50:22-23 “Now consider this, you who forget God, Lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver: 23 Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; And to him who orders his conduct aright
I will show the salvation of God.”
I would like to again thank the men who came to the Men’s Meeting on Sunday afternoon. I believe it is very important that the people of God gather to talk about the work of God. I intend to have annual reports ready for viewing on June 23, 2024. If you are a leader of a committee or ministry and would like to submit a report, please have them to me by next Wednesday night, June 19th.
A couple of months ago a student from Baptist College of Ministry presented his desire to go on a mission trip to work with our missionary, Alexander Tingbani. If you would like to see his video report, see this site:
Saturday the ladies will again have a fellowship called “Mugs and Muffins.” They will meet at 9:30 a.m. at the home of Brittany L. Then Saturday evening, June 15th, the adults of the church are encouraged to come together for mini golf and Kelly’s Ice Cream. The golf will be at Fondy Sports at 6:00 p.m. The fellowship continues at Kelly’s after the game.
This coming Lord’s Day I will return to Hebrews 12 and the conclusion of the Warnings. Pastor Charlie is preaching from Philippians on Sunday evening.
Pray that God’s Word is large among us. Pray for those hurting – some are grieving, some are confused, and some are very weak. Wednesday evening prayer request leftovers are being put on the MOT this summer. Pick one up on Sunday if your are not here tonight.
