Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family: About noon today, Jeremy learned that his dad had gone home to be with Jesus. Jeremy and Amber were with his family in Ohio earlier this week. They came home Wednesday night. Then yesterday afternoon they face-timed with his family for several hours because they knew the time was close. Jeremy was serving at Kohler today when he learned his dad had gone on.
Memorial service arrangements are ongoing. There will likely be a service on Thursday in Ohio. I’ll share what I know when arrangements are finalized tomorrow night.
Pray for Janet Shaeffer and her family. Of course pray for Jeremy and Amber and their family. We rejoice that a servant of the Lord has been united with his reward. We sorrow for those who have lost much in his passing.
Let me rejoice in two good days of service at Kohler. I am so proud of our church family. You are the best. We had a good time serving together and I believe have kept a good testimony among those with whom we worked.
I am excited to worship with you tomorrow.
