Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family,
Psalm 35 “Plead my cause, O Lord, with those who strive with me; Fight against those who fight against me. 2 Take hold of shield and buckler,
and stand up for my help. 3 Also draw out the spear, and stop those who pursue me. Say to my soul, “I am your salvation.”’ Are you fighting today? Know that you are not alone in this battle!
Young adults will come together this evening for fellowship and Bible study at the Brakers at 7:00 p.m. This is a great venue for building relationships.
Tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. is Men’s Prayer Breakfast. We have a good number signed up. The menu is breakfast sandwiches. Please let me know early today if you want to be added to this list. We eat at 8:00 a.m., share requests, pray, and are done by 9:30 a.m.
Sunday is Lord’s Table. I am going to skip to the last verse of 1 Timothy 3 and speak of Jesus. Take some time over these next couple of days to prepare your heart for worship. Adult Sunday School classes are “normal” this week.
Both choirs will practice at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. Then at 6:30 p.m. we are going to gather around a fire in the backyard of the parsonage. We are calling this Sing N Snacks. Bring lawn chairs. Bring a sweet or salty to share and come prepared to sing. Pastor Shaeffer is going to lead our time of worship and fellowship.
Praise the Lord for His goodness to us. Pray for protection and strength for the coming days. Pray for liberty and peace.
