Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, First, I want to rejoice for the grand night we had last evening at Trinity Baptist School. The young people did an excellent job. The elementary performance of “A Church Mouse Christmas” was delightful. The high school sang well. And the evening was well attended – I would guess well over 100 were present. An offering was received a s a gift to our teachers. If you did not have opportunity last night, your designated gift could be put in Sunday’s offering.

Next, I have learned that Jean is moving today to St. Francis Home. This means she is doing better! Continue to pray for her healing. She is able to have visitors.

Continue to pray for Kathy. She is at her sickest time from her last chemo round. Pray that she regains strength and that this cancer is gone.

Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. our adult choir under the direction of Devin Scherck will present a package of familiar Christmas carols. Come and worship with us. This Sunday evening we will return to Charlie’s study in the book of Genesis. In Sunday School, Charlie is in 1 Corinthians 12-14 talking about spiritual gifts.

As you plan your Christmas schedule, remember we will not have Awana or Bible study on Wednesdays the 22nd or the 29th. We will have a Candlelight Service on December 24th at 6:00 p.m. Our Sunday schedules will not change from our normal weekly scheduling this year.

Tomorrow morning the choir practices at 9:00 a.m. The Teens have a party at the Tony Braker home at 5:00 p.m. also on Saturday, December 11th.

Psalm 14:1 reads “The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none who does good.” Let us not be practical atheist by excluding the worship and service of God from our schedules.

Embracing Truth, Pastor
