If there is only one thing that Democrats and Republicans can agree upon, it is this: we are all glad the ads have stopped!
I left Sunday both worn out and delighted with the good God is doing among us. My heart is warmed by the new faces and good attendance God is granting us.
This coming Sunday I am going to give a financial report to the church and also talk about a second principle of giving: Stewardship. On Sunday evening, Charlie will continue his series from James. James 5 is a fun chapter.
Tonight is Dream Career night in Awana. When I grow up I want to be a pastor.
Next Tuesday, November 15th is Senior Lunch Day. Join us for great fellowship and a continued walk in the book of Colossians. We meet at Rolling Meadows restaurant at noon. We each order off the menu and after we eat we have our study.
Pastor Shaeffer is traveling to Ankeny, IA to take Levi and Hannah to Scholarship Days at Faith Baptist Bible College. Pray for their safety. Pray also for God’s direction in the lives of Levi and Hannah.
Pray for our country. Pray that our elected leaders are compelled to do that which is good and right. Pray for our liberty to be carried into the next generation. Pray for the salvation of souls through our ministry. Pray we might have ears to hear God’s Word.
