Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 33:10-12 The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect. 11 The counsel of the Lord stands forever, The plans of His heart to all generations. 12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, The people He has chosen as His own inheritance.

I am so glad humans are not ultimately in charge of this world. Only the purposes of God stand forever.

I know I wrote just yesterday, but a couple of things have come up. First, pray for Patsy’s mom, Doloris. She fell and broke her ankle. She will require surgery and will be moved to a nursing home until the swelling goes down enough for the surgery. Patsy will be spending a lot of time with her. Pray for patience, healing, and strength.

Then, remember that we are taking a second offering on Sunday after Lord’s Table for Carolyn’s girls. This is a great way for us to make a huge difference in the lives of these young ladies.

When we are moving Suzanne on Saturday, Lin and others are planning on helping Suzanne by cleaning her old apartment. If you would like to meet us at her old apartment and help with this cleaning project, contact Lin L. If you have any questions about this project, talk to me. As I wrote this, I was told that it might be raining on Saturday morning. Perhaps we will move this to Friday afternoon/evening?

Pray for strength for Jean, Janet, and Bonnie. Pray for wisdom and truth for our elected officials. Pray for God’s working among us on the Lord’s Day.
