Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family: Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? They are rhetorical questions. If the Lord is our light and salvation, we fear no one. Think about those words. Light gives knowledge and direction. Boy, we need that today. Salvation is rescue, deliverance. We also could use some of that. So, knowing that our God is light and salvation will remove fear.

The State of Wisconsin has now limited gatherings to 10 individuals. We will continue broadcasting Sunday morning worship services through our church Facebook page. If you have never tried to listen to a sermon this way before, I encourage you to check it out before Sunday morning. Become a friend of our Trinity Baptist facebook page. You will see other sermons from past weeks.

A limit of 10 people will participate live in these services. Everyone else will be asked to not be in attendance. Our order of service schedule will help determine who is going to be in the building.

This is contrary to everything I have always practiced. This is anathema to me. But this is also plainly what God has allowed for this time.

I don’t need to remind you that the expenses of church are primarily building and staff and that these expenses will continue. If you have income, I encourage you to find a way to either “lay up” your giving for when you return as Paul encouraged the Corinthians. Or you could mail it to the church using our P.O. Box 1453, Fond du Lac, WI 54936 address. You could also use the paypal portal on our trinityfdl.net website.

Our Ministry Committee is meeting on Saturday morning. Pray for wisdom as we consider the opportunities and pitfalls ahead of Trinity Baptist Church. Pray for one another.

Trinity Baptist School has met through today as allowed. We will not have Bible study or Awana this evening. Awana will be suspended until school returns.

Embracing Truth, Pastor
