Trinity Baptist Church Family, Although he should be nobody’s hero, I have to like what Jehu says to Jehonadab in 2 Kings 10:16 “Come with me and see my zeal for the LORD.” May we so live that we are an open invitation to people to come with us and see our passion for Jesus.
I had a great day in church yesterday! But then, I got to preach twice and play the piano. So I suppose my pleasure is a bit about me. But I do rejoice in the good attendance and the enthusiasm of many in this place. May God be glorified as we come together in Jesus Name.
Don’t forget to vote tomorrow! This primary election is very important because there are a lot of open slots heading into the November elections. Tuesday is when those spots get filled. Make your voice be heard at this local level.
Men’s Retreat is this Thursday – Saturday at a group site at High Cliff State park. Twenty-two are signed up to attend at some point. Pray for our safety and good fellowship. If you have any questions about schedule, place, or menu, give me a shout.
When you pray, thank God for the rain. Remember Kathy’s scan tomorrow. Pray for healing for those who are hurting. My uncle Dave has his 3rd chemo tomorrow.
Silas and Cora are married. Pray for God to bless their new home.
