Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family: Lin, Sarah, and I have safely arrived at Zeke’s home in Great Falls, MT. We are having fun with Liam, Quincy, and Synclair. God is good.
We had a great Lord’s Day this past week. I greatly enjoyed the ministry of Wayne and Carole Vawter. Then, at 1:00 p.m. we held the annual meeting of our Congregation. The church called Charlie Leeds to join the pastoral staff of the church and approved budgets for the 2020-2021 year submitted by the Finance, Outreach, and School Committees. We also dedicated Curt Carter, Tim Schueller, Darryl Mayes, Dale Struska, Tony Braker, and David Olson as Ministry Committee members for the coming year. If you have not yet looked over the annual report, I encourage you to pick one up. Especially check out the committee page and consider how you might become more involved in ministry at TBC.
I mentioned at the annual meeting a financial need among the pastors and churches our missionary Charlie Smith has worked with in Argentina. The Ministry Committee has approved sending $500 from our church benevolent fund to aid these brothers in Christ during the hardships brought on by COVID19.
Pastor Charlie (or PC) will continue his walk through Genesis Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. Pick it up on Facebook if you are not able to attend. A class for teens and one for children also meet at the same time.
Continue to pray for Dennis Groll. He came through surgery well last week, but continued to be in a lot of pain. I understand he may be beginning radiation treatments soon. Pray also for the health of Kevin Goldapske.
Pray for peace in our country. Pray for God’s Word to be strong in our lives. Pray for liberty for the spread of the gospel.
