Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, May God bless you with a delightful American Independence Day! I am thinking this morning of all the blessings of God upon me.
– I have eternal salvation through the work of Jesus Christ.
– I am owned a child by the Creator.
– I am taught by the Holy Spirit.
– I have a copy of God’s Word that I can read and understand.
– I have a family who loves God.
– I have peace with God and with most of my relationships.
– I have health.
– I live in a community where safety and health are the norm.
– I have a church family to strengthen and encourage me.
– I have work to do.
– I have income sufficient to my needs.
– I have liberty to serve God and pursue His best in my life.
– I have rights given to me by laws that are honored in my culture.
– And today I remember that I live in a country built by many who loved the Lord and sought His guidance.
Oh, I am rich. “Thank you, God, for your blessings on me.”
Pray for one another. Pray for the hurting. Pray for those who will handle the Word of God in tomorrow’s pulpits. Pray for our missionaries. Pray for God to be glorified in our Church.
