Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, This morning in staff devotions, Charlie read to us from Matthew 10. “26 Therefore do not fear them. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known. 27 “Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops. 28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. 30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.” Three times Jesus says “do not fear.” I laughed when I heard “you are of more value than many sparrows.” My first impression is to say, “Of course I am.” But then my heart says, “Am I really?” No matter your enemy today, “Do not fear, you are worth more than many sparrows!”

Wow. We have had a busy week. Last Wednesday night we had 131 plus in the building for Awana Grand Prix. Good fellowship and ministry happened along with a lot of fun. Parents, be aware that you clubber has just 3 regular Awana nights remaining in this year.

The teens had a good Bible study on Thursday evening.

On Friday and Saturday, 17 ladies from TBC attended the WFBC Ladies’ Retreat at Green Lake Conference Center. I have heard many good thing including plans to attend again next March 31-April 1.

We had a good Lord’s Day including a well-attended Quarterly Congregational Meeting. Pick up agendas in the back if you missed them. Read the included minutes of the Outreach Committee. We are proposing to add several missionaries to our mission family during our June 26th annual meeting.

Please pray for Michele D. Her husband Travis attended TBC while he was attending Maranatha 10 years ago. He spent one semester with us as an intern. Michelle has leaky heart valves and has already had 3 open heart surgeries. She is a young mom with 2 babies. They have been encouraged to get a second opinion because their current doctors are concerned about the dangers of a 4th open heart surgery. Please pray for Travis and Michelle.

Pray for the church in Ukraine. Pray for repentance in our country.

Embracing Truth, Pastor
