Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family,

Psalm 107:1-3 “Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. 2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy, 3 And gathered out of the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south.”

Joe C share this with us, “God is great! Juniper Mae C, was born this afternoon at a whopping 11lbs 1oz. Melanie and June Bug are doing great. Thank you for your prayers.” Continue to pray for strength and mobility for Carolyn O. Praise God for safety of many who traveled over the Thanksgiving holiday.

Men’s Prayer Breakfast is 8:00 a.m.m on Saturday, December 7th in the church basement. A good number have signed up. We are going to have fruit, biscuits N gravy, and fried eggs. Come for the food, fellowship, and worship in prayer.

The ladies’ annual Christmas Party is at the parsonage at 10:00 a.m. this Saturday, December 7th. Bring a brunch item to share and enjoy the conversation. Secret Pals will be unveiled as well as new ones selected for the coming year. Whether or not you join in the secret pal part, all women – young and old – are invited to join in this good time.

I am going to finish up 1 Timothy this Sunday morning. In teen/adult Sunday School we will hear a report from our Missionary to Korea, Robert Oetman. The adult choir will practice this Sunday at 5:00 p.m. We have a Finance Committee Meeting at 5:30 p.m. Pastor Charlie will be preaching from Philippians at 6:30 p.m.

Invite someone to church for next Sunday morning, December 15th. Devin S leads our adult choir and they always do a good job. I’m sure it will be enjoyable and a blessing. I am going to preach from the Magnificat – Mary’s song of praise in Luke 1.

Save Friday the 13th for the adult Christmas party at the Parsonage. Bring savory or sweet items to share and come for the food and games at 6:00 p.m. Let’s fill the house with laughter once more!

In all the noise of the season, be sure and listen to the voice of God.

Embracing Truth. Equipping Saints.

Pastor
