God is working in lives and I want to share with you about two young men, Moses and Misheck. They come from a family of nine. Their Father is an alcoholic, and often times he abuses them physically and verbally. If you would go to their home, you would find all nine family members living in two small rooms. Moses was the first in the Siakula family to come to Christ.
This Lord’s Day is promotion Sunday – the Sunday that many young people change their Sunday School classes. Adults will return to their divided classes the last week in October. Missionary Lloyd Peace will be our adult teacher during the Sunday School hour and in the evening service. The text for the morning preaching is Romans 12:3-8, “The Body of Christ.”
By now you might have heard the final announcement that EBM is dissolving as of September 2 2011. This was shocking news to us as well as maybe to you. We are grieving and facing a variety of emotions and thoughts about this.
Sorry for the delay in writing. Let me give you a quick update on the last couple of months. In June we enjoyed the 30 day visit of Junior Taylor from Jamaica, a student from Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, IA. He was a great help as he preached and taught in each one of the ministries that we conduct. The people loved it.
Just quick update to let you all know we are heading out for eastern African countries Wednesday morning 24 August and will be gone for a month until 22 Sept. we will be teaching in 3 countries with lots of traveling on land (oh boy :-).
We are all set for the trip with paperwork, courses money etc… all in hand. Thank you for praying with us.
