Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Welcome to Walleye Weekend’s 40th Anniversary! I’m sure for many in our community this is significant – not so much for me. Many anticipate the partying. Many appreciate the culture that is Fond du Lac. Many long for their annual indulgence in cheese curds. Me? I spend 20 hours frying cheese. Pray for me, not because of the cheese, but because of the people I will be with for the next 10 hours. Pray that God gives me open doors. I had a unique opportunity yesterday, I am praying that God might do something like that again today. I know others including a group of men called Fishermen’s Call will be at the park with the intent of talking about Jesus. Pray for them.
We have a Men’s Meeting tomorrow afternoon at 5:00 p.m. We will refer a budget to the Congregation for next week’s annual business meeting. We will receive the Building/Grounds Committee’s encouragement to proceed with our needed back wall project. We will talk about our summer ministry plans. I encourage regular attending men – especially those of you who are members – to be present for this meeting.
Mark July 13th or 14th on your calendar as a day to help with the TBS Kohler fundraiser. We need 16 teens/adult on Friday and 20 on Saturday. Times with a sign up sheet will be available tomorrow at church.
