Dear Pastor Leeds:
Thank you for your support of Maranatha and our students, especially by being one of our extension churches. We promote the local church, and you support our mission by allowing our students to serve in your church.
We have a unique opportunity for your congregation to assist us as we work to make the Maranatha campus a good environment for those students.
During the week of August 5 a team from Independent Baptist Builders International (IBBI) in Georgia will be roofing two of our residence buildings. IBBI (www.builders4god.org) is a group of individuals who have banded together to assist ministries with their building programs. I am a Board member of the group and had the privilege of working with IBBI in the construction of a Baptist Church in the Dominican Republic over a two week period in 2011.
Work will begin early Monday morning, August 5, and should be completed before noon on Friday, August 9. Maranatha will be providing sleeping accommodations and meals throughout the week. Seven men will be on campus that week, and they have asked if we could identify four or five additional men that could assist.
May we ask you to invite some of your men to join us that week?
We apologize for this late notice, yet we hope that some of your men may be able to assist one day or multiple days. Please contact me at 920-206-2325 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you need additional information or would like to sign up to help us.
Thank you for your ongoing support of Maranatha. May God richly bless you as you continue to serve Him.
Beneath the Cross,
Director of Development
