Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 46:1-3 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling.” If we make God our refuge, we need not fear in the most troubling of circumstances. Note the psalm says “even though.” It does not say that troubles will not come, but that we do not need to be afraid because we have God.

This has been an emotionally busy week. The Trinity Baptist School Spring Showcase on Thursday and then Patsy’s Celebration of Life on Saturday, followed by a busy Lord’s Day. Praise God that He is strength.

Pray today for Van and I as we will both be participating in graveside services. Pray for Dave E and Van’s sister Connie as they lay their spouses’ remains to rest. Pray that Jesus be glorified.

Pat H and Lisa S’s mom are both having a watchman installed in their heart today. Pray for success for these procedures.

Continue to pray for healing and restoration for Linda R, Carolyn O, and Suzanne G.

This Wednesday is the last regular Awana night of this year. Parents should make sure their clubbers have finished their book. Come early, stay late, and do what is necessary to complete the work. Awana Award’s night is May 1st. That evening will begin in the church basement with a Nacho Fest at 5:30 p.m. Awards in the auditorium will begin about 6:30 p.m.

I enjoyed our day with Andy and Christy Streit. Pray for them as they work towards a ministry in Peru. We have another missionary this Sunday, Tiffany Henderson.

Rejoice in the Lord. May His Presence be your Comfort.

Embracing Truth. Equipping Saints. Pastor
