Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family: My family members recently reminded me of a son titled “Take Me Back.” The theme of the song is “I want to go to church.” David felt that way. Psalm 84:1-2 How lovely is Your tabernacle, O Lord of hosts! 2 My soul longs, yes, even faints for the courts of the Lord; My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. Believers desire to be with other believers and worship together. Pray with me that we soon have some hope and direction from our government on when this might happen again.
Men may join together at 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning for a time of prayer. No breakfast. No children. Just men, conversation, and prayer. Ladies may join together Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. for a time of fellowship. Given the expected outdoor temperature this meeting will likely be held in the church rather than at the parsonage fire pit. Again, no children and no refreshments provided.
Know today that God is God. And being God, He is completely aware of you and your circumstances. Rest. Work, Pray. Do all in the confidence of our faith in God and His unfailing Word.
