Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, No Scripture today. Just me. I have been thinking that this whole COVID19 thing is WAY BIGGER and WAY SMALLER than most people know. It is WAY BIGGERin that absolutely no one knows all about it. No doctor knows  for sure how the virus began or how far it is going to go. No scientist knows where this virus will be in a year or 2 years or 10 years. No politician knows the financial and social ramifications of this virus and the restrictions it has brought. If someone is telling you they know all about it, I’m convinced they are wrong. This is WAY BIGGER than anyone can understand.

COVID19 is also WAY SMALLER then most people think. Compared to eternity, this time is nothing. Even compared to the thousands of years of human history and diseases, this virus is an insignificant drop in the bucket of time. And compared to the sovereignty of God, this virus is WAY SMALLER than most people think. What this virus can do is insignificant compared to what God does. At very most COVID19 is a tool in God’s hand.

So when you hear the next expert tell you what they think, say in your mind, “This is WAY BIGGER than you know.” And when fear assails your soul and Satan tempts you to trust anyone or anything (face masks don’t bring eternal life) but God, say in your mind, “COVID19 is WAY SMALLER than I can imagine because I cannot fathom the magnitude of my God.
