Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Proverbs 20:3 “It is honorable for a man to stop striving, since any fool can start a quarrel.” I think I am right. I think that speaks for most of us most of the time. The question I need to ask myself is, “Would I rather be right or at peace?” Many times in my home or in other relationships, it is much better to be at peace than it is to be right. Note in this verse the qualification of starting conflict. “O God, might I have the honor of being a peacemaker like your Son.”
Thank you to those who prayed, donated, or bought to make last night’s auction a success. With concessions, Pastor Shaeffer figures us to be right at $8.900.00 for the 2021 TBS auction. Praise the Lord. This good evening contributes greatly towards the ministry of our church and its school.
