Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 90:1-2 “Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations. 2 Before the mountains were brought forth, Or ever You had formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.” This psalm of Moses contains over a dozen different references to time. Familiar phrases like “a 1,000 years in your sight are like yesterday when it is past” and “teach us to number our days” are in this psalm. This psalm about time begins with eternity – “from everlasting to everlasting.”

I often am frustrated with time. Too little time, too long to wait. God owns time. He created time. When I am frustrated with time I am upset at a gift I received from God. We need to use time for the glory of God. We need to thank God for His gift of this moment.

Sunday morning worship is still on. Fond du Lac county has removed their restrictions and has said she will monitor the situation while encouraging people to be cautious. The Republicans leading our Assembly and Senate are not inclined to reinstate the Governor’s restrictions on worship. So it looks like it is up to us to be wise.

Pastor Shaeffer and I reset the chairs in the auditorium yesterday. We removed some and spaced the rows out a bit. Families ought to sit together and everyone will be responsible to create their own needed physical distancing. There is no way for us to legislate or design this for you. Those desiring face masks or hand sanitizer should supply their own. Common surfaces will be cleaned. As I wrote yesterday, if you have concerns for your own health or for the behavior of others, you ought to consider continuing to worship through our church Facebook page. I do look forward to all these concerns being removed, but I believe that may be months if ever. Perhaps when Jesus returns!

The Dave Shell Memorial TBS auction is two weeks from today. Because of the current uncertainties, we have chosen to use an online site called Bidding Owl.com. Attached is a flyer listing items and giving instructions of how to bid. This flyer will be in Sunday’s bulletin too.

We will have a Men’s Prayer time again tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m. I will lift the age limitation. There will be no breakfast.

Embracing Truth, Pastor
