Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, We had a full house and a delightful last evening. The students of Trinity Baptist school did a great job presenting Christmas in a fun way. Many thanks to Charlie, Sarah, Jeremy, Amber, and all those who contributed something for the evening. And thanks to those who brought a Christmas bonus gift for our staff. God is good.
We will have a normal schedule on Sunday morning, Christmas Eve Day. We have Sunday School and our morning worship. I will be in Genesis 22 on Sunday morning teaching of our Atonement in Jesus through the lives of Abraham and Isaac.
Sunday evening, Christmas Eve, we have a Candlelight Service at 6:00 p.m. (Note that this is 30 minutes earlier than our normal Sunday night time.) We have a one hour worship celebration of Jesus planned for the evening. Come and bring a friend to this special service.
Pray for healing for Kathy R. Radiation is done and she is home resting. Jean W has learned she has two cracked vertebrae. Her options are not good. She is planning to head to Arizona after the first of the year.
May you have time and strength in the coming days to reflect on the gifts of God to you. Pray for those who are struggling with grief or addictions. Sometimes this season is especially intense. Enjoy the goodness. Ignore the rest!
