Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family: The dust has begun to settle on what has been two very event full weeks. We have gone from TBS graduations to The Exchange Seminar to Charlie & Brittany’s wedding. Then the Leeds decided to take a couple of vacation days and go camping with 6 little children including 3 one-year-olds. I must tell you, it has been a great two weeks! Everyday has been filled with the necessity of touching people – ministry – whether family or church family. Zeke and Hannah will leave on Saturday and take 3 grandsons with them. The calendar ahead is not quite so filled. “Lord, regardless the schedule, help me to serve others and be a blessing to someone.”
Saturday is Men’s Prayer Breakfast. We begin at 8:00a in the church basement. After we eat we share and then take time to pray. We are normally done around 9:30a. Young boys are welcome with their dads. Teens may come on their own. Our normal group includes a wide spread of ages. If you are not signed up and would like to join us, contact me so I can be prepared.
Sunday morning is Lord’s Table. Sunday night we are going to have our second Sing N S’mores. Bring your lawn chairs and join us in the Leeds’ backyard. This was a fun event when we tried it last fall. We will begin at our regular service time of 6:30p.
Pray for Randy Martin’s mom, Mary Lou Martin. She is in the hospital with a variety of needs. The fear is she may not get better. She has been caring for her husband – Lyle. Pray for wisdom for Randy and others as decisions are made.
