Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 116:1-2 “I love the Lord, because He has heard my voice and my supplications. 2 Because He has inclined His ear to me, therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live.” Do you love the Lord? Are you determined to call on Him today?

We can call on the Lord on behalf of others. Pray for Kathy R. Her radiation treatments were delayed this week because of fluid build up from her back surgery. This fluid has also caused her pain. I understand this is now removed and radiation has begun. Pray also for the family of Joey E. This young man was lived his life with severe disabilities. His family has showered much love and care on him for 20 years. They are now being told that the end of his life may be near. We also continue to pray for Carolyn O.

Tomorrow is a fun day. We begin with Men’s Prayer Breakfast at 8:00 a.m. at the church. If you have not signed up and intend to come, please contact me. We eat first, then share prayer request and pray. We are done before 9:30 a.m.

Then, all the Ladies of the church are invited to the parsonage for a Christas Party at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 2nd. Bring an appetizer, sweet, or brunch type item to share. There will be games, a devotion, and an unveiling of this past year’s Secret Pals. If you have questions about or would like to join the coming year’s Secret Pal fellowship, see Beth B or Lin L.

I will continue my “Old Testament in the New Testament” series in Sunday School. Curt O will continue his lessons on Stewardship. The morning preaching is from Mark 14. We will consider Peter’s response to the arrest and examination of Jesus. Both adult and children’s choir will practice at 5:00 p.m. I will walk through Esther 5-7 in the evening service.

A bit of family house keeping. We praise the Lord that God has seen fit to increase our attendance recently. With the increase of people inside there is also an increase of cars outside. Our parking lot is full! If you are a regular attender of Trinity Baptist and are young and strong, consider parking either in the McDermott park lot or in the Cottage Avenue cul-de-sac on the west side of the parsonage. You may then walk through the parsonage drive way and walk to get to the church. This is a Sunday morning ministry that some might consider to help our church feel welcome and accessible to visitors and those who may have trouble walking, especially in poorer weather.

Pray for peace in our violent world. Pray for the return of the Prince of Peace. Pray that the message of the gospel of Jesus might be plain to many this season.

Embracing Truth. Equipping Saints.

Pastor
