Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, “I saw God wash the world last night.” And I would say He did a little more than wash it! As you can see from the picture, my little world got changed.

Psalm 101 is a purpose statement of King David concerning how he would conduct his life. He defines justice and mercy. This psalm’s truth is as applicable to you and me as it was 3,000 years ago when David wrote it. Read the first half: “I will sing of mercy and justice; to You, O Lord, I will sing praises. 2 I will behave wisely in a perfect way. Oh, when will You come to me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart. 3 I will set nothing wicked before my eyes; I hate the work of those who fall away; It shall not cling to me. 4 A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will not know wickedness.” Let us imitate David’s desire for innocence.

Charlie will lead our adult Bible study tonight at 7:00 p.m. – live and on Facebook. Tony will teach the youth. Carolyn  will lead the children’s class.

We will have Men’s Prayer Breakfast on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. Because of summer schedule conflicts, this will be the last one until September. Please sign up at church or reply to this email if you intend to come and will be eating.

Our world is filled with broken things, broken people. Let us, like King David, determine to do that which is right.

Embracing Truth, Pastor
