Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 76:10 “Surely the wrath of man shall praise You; With the remainder of wrath You shall gird Yourself.” I am discouraged when people I know are angry with God. They disagree with how He has managed their life. They feel like life is unfair, worthless. The psalmist assures us that even in the wrath of people, God is glorified!
Tomorrow, Thursday, February 2nd is Ground Hogs Day. You thought I was going to say it is Souped Up! Well, the ground hog may bring false hope. Spring is a still 2 months away. But warm tasty soup is here tomorrow. Come pick up your orders at the church between 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. If you have not ordered, we will be making an extra supply just for you. Come by and pick out the flavors you want for dinner tomorrow night. Don’t forget to freeze some for another winter night!
Acts 29, a Bible study for young adults, is this Friday, February 3rd at the Tony Braker home at 7:00 p.m.
Sunday is Lord’s Table morning. Our benevolent offering will go to help the Ukrainian refugees being aided through Baptist Mid Missions – the board of our missionary, Rebekah Fruin. This war is not over and the pain will continue for years to come. Pray for God to be glorified by raising up his church through this chaos.
There is no Men’s Prayer Breakfast this coming Saturday as I am attending the No Regrets men’s conference. A flier for this was in last Sunday’s bulletin. Information is also on our bulletin board tonight if you want to sign up.
I begin a walk through the book of Mark this Lord’s morning. May we see Jesus in all His glory. Pastor Charlie begins a new series in the psalms this Sunday night. Our adult Sunday School classes continue in Jeremiah and Ecclesiology. Come join us at 8:45 a.m. on Sundays. We have a class for every age!
Pray for our country to repent. Repent yourself. Pray for our missionaries to be strong and to know God’s presence. Pray for us as a church to hear anded do God’s Word.
Embracing Truth. Equipping Saints. Pastor
