Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family: I received an email last evening from Dick Siedschlag – our former missionary. Dick’s wife, Robin, passed away many years ago and we had the privilege of serving alongside of Dick at the time of his grief. He reached out to our church through our website to thank us for remaining faithful and for our ministry to him. Praise God. Dick is serving with his son in a church in Colorado.
The TBS auction was a good success. Many from our church and the community came and enjoyed a fun evening. Our net for the auction will be around $8,500. This will go far in ensuring our ability to continue partnering with families who desire our philosophy and doctrine to be taught with good academics to their children. Thank you to all who gave and all who served.
Pastor Shaeffer is fighting a nasty spring cold. Pray for his healing and relief. Pray that he might be able to rest.
On the Lord’s Day we are going to join the Huizenga family in their dedication of Trinity. During the preaching we are going to remember the Jesus’ story of “the man who amazed Jesus.” It is one thing to amaze humans. What does it take to amaze God? Does God find your faith amazing?
