Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family: We are having a great time at VBS Sailing with Jesus. We have had about 60 here the last two nights – leaders included so over 40 children. After VBS I heard my not-yet-3 granddaughter attempting to sing one of the songs we are learning this week. What a blessing for this “old man” to be able to sing and teach into these young minds. God is so good. Pray for children to receive the gospel and Jesus as their Savior. Pray for hearts to be molded into Christ’s image these last two nights.
Sunday is church dinner day! Woohoo! Come with a dish to pass enough for your family and a little bit more. Stay and walk through Isaiah 51 with us. Then go enjoy a wonderful summer afternoon.
Pray for Mark Shaeffer. Pray for a miracle of God’s healing power. Pray for daily grace for Mark and the Shaeffer clan.
Pray for my dad, Leon Leeds. He has been in the hospital for the past few days with a parasite in his blood. It has made him very weak.
Pray for the ministry of the Word as we come together again on Sunday. We will be at 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11 in the morning service – The Day of the Lord. It’s a day of judgment. Oh, that I might be sober and awake in light of God’s plans for this world.
