Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family,
Psalm 1:6 “For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly shall perish.” In my random cycles of Bible reading, I began the book of Psalms again today. I have this thought – the Lord knows my way. The way I have chosen, the walk of the justified, is known by God. He is familiar with the way I have chosen to live. He chose it for me. If I live the life of the righteous, I will continue to live that life forever.
I pray you had a blessed New Year’s holiday. We had 66 at Grub and Games on Sunday evening. What fun and what awesome food. The resurrected Pastordy went well. Thank you, Sarah, for putting that together.
Kathy R is coming home today! Pray for quick healing from this latest surgery. The goal is to begin a chemo soon that would beat her cancer. Pray for God to do wonderful things in her life.
Today is Day 87 for the Hostages of Hamas. Pray for them. And pray for peace in this world.
I am especially burdened for about a dozen people right now. Some are new to Trinity Baptist. Some are kinda new. I’m praying they will stay long enough to learn. Some are wandering and I fear they are making choices that will cause them and Christ great harm. Pray for our ministry. Pray for your pastors as we reach out to people. Pray for the effective ministry of the Word.
