Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, At the end of the book of James we read “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” Your prayers are profitable. Prayer is worthy of your time and efforts.
Pray for Kathy R as she endures her last round of chemo treatments. Pray that these treatments are effective in ridding her body of this cancer. Pray for Jean W. Her infection is causing other problems. She is still in the hospital.
Continue to pray for families who are grieving: Shell, Jones, B Leeds’ family, and the Ryans. Pastor Mike Gordon of 1st Baptist in Hartford, WI passed away yesterday morning. He had ministered in that church for 48 years! Pray for his family and church. Praise God we know that he is reunited with his Carol in the presence of Jesus!
Pray for souls to be saved and families encouraged during our many Christmas activities at Trinity Baptist. Praise the Lord that Leena received Christ as Savior in Awana a few of weeks ago.
Trinity Baptist School will present “A Church Mouse Christmas” on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. I encourage everyone to attend. The staff and elementary students have been working very hard on this. The high school choir will also sing. We will receive an offering during this school program for a gift to our teaching staff at Trinity Baptist School. Please be a blessing to these hardworking servants.
On Sunday, December 12th at 10:00 a.m. our church choir is going to present several traditional Christmas carols under the direction of Devin Scherck accompanied by Roberta Scherck. Your heart will be warmed by these familiar sounds and classic words.
We will have our traditional Candlelight Service on Christmas Eve, Friday, December 24th at 6:00 p.m. This will be a night of music, readings, and a reminder of the Glory of the season – Jesus.
May your family be busy this season, but not so busy that you forget Who it is who has enabled and blessed you. May you know Jesus Christ as you are known by Him.
Embracing Truth, Pastor
