Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family: The dust has settled and the aroma of excited children has left the room. Maybe the grilled hamburger smell will leave by Sunday. Yesterday’s Awana Grand Prix was a great success. It was exciting to have over 150 people in our building. Commander Braker gave a thought provoking gospel presentation with an “orange” illustration. Over 75 racers competed in at least 3 runs down the track. Many workers and parents cooperated to glorify God in a fun way. Praise the LORD. Pray that contacts made and conversations begun would bear good fruit.
Last call to contact me if you are planning to eat at the Men’s Prayer Breakfast on Saturday, 8a.
We have Lord’s Table on Sunday. During the preaching from the second half of Mark 5, we will be looking at the life of one who was sick for 12 years.
TBS is off school tomorrow. I believe 9 ladies from TBC are going to join 500 other ladies at the Green Lake Conference Center for the 2019 version of the Wisconsin Fellowship of Baptist Churches Ladies’ Retreat. Pray that they will be challenged and encouraged.
Pray for the health of our church family. Many are fighting colds and coughs. I continue to strengthen this week, but still have some gunk in my lungs. (Would the doctors call it gunk?) Pray that we might glorify God unhindered as we come together on the Lord’s Day.
Embracing Truth, Pastor
