Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 67 God be merciful to us and bless us, and cause His face to shine upon us, Selah 2 That Your way may be known on earth, Your salvation among all nations. 3 Let the peoples praise You, O God; let all the peoples praise You. 4 Oh, let the nations be glad and sing for joy! For You shall judge the people righteously, and govern the nations on earth. Selah 5 Let the peoples praise You, O God; let all the peoples praise You. 6 Then the earth shall yield her increase; God, our own God, shall bless us. 7 God shall bless us, and all the ends of the earth shall fear Him.

Note in this psalm the responsibility of peoples to praise God. Praise is not only expected of Israel or the people of God, but of all humanity. All creation enjoys the benefits of God’s grace. All people groups revel in the beauty and goodness of nature. When we praise God we are only doing what is right in return for our many blessings.

I’ve attached a flier for Sunday’s church picnic. It also has our church policy concerning this picnic. Note the special things that pertain to the Mohr’s home. Parents are responsible for the supervision of their own children at our church picnic.

We have a sign up in the back of the church for those interested in competing in Corn Hole or Volleyball Sunday’s picnic.

There will be a roasted pig and roasted corn. Bring a dish to share and a contribution for the pig and corn. The church will have table service and coolers of drinks. If you need soda, bring your own. Bring lawn chairs.

Acts 29, our young adult group, is going to the Timber Rattlers’ Game on Saturday. Leave-the-church-time is 4:00 p.m.

This Lord’s Day we will be seeing the end of the wrath of God in Revelation 15-16 in our morning service. Darryl is nearing the climax of The Drama of Job in adult Sunday School at 8:45 a.m.

Pray for one another. Pray for God’s Word to change us. Pray for a new heart for God for this new day.

Embracing Truth, Pastor
