Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family,
Last Lord’s Day in Malachi 1:13 we learned that the people of God said “Oh, what a weariness!” as they considered the corporate worship of God. I hope this rebellion is far from your mind as you consider the coming Lord’s Day.
Continue to pray for Pastor Shaeffer. He has felt much better this week than he did a couple of weeks ago. He still does not have a diagnosis of his ongoing pains and GI problems. Tests have been sent to the Mayo Clinic for evaluation. He hopes to learn more soon.
Also pray for our seniors. Pray especially for John Riedel, Tom Michler, LeAnn Murray, Janet Russell, Jim Jones, and Bonnie Fiebig. Bonnie has a new permanent home in an assistant living facility.
We have a work day this Saturday from 9a-Noon. We have cleaning to do, some minor repairs/remodels to accomplish, and moving of the school to commence. I have also put the mornings of June 16th and June 30th on my calendar to set aside as moving/cleaning days for the move of TBS.
We have a Building/Grounds Committee meeting at 8a this Saturday.
Sunday is Church Dinner Day! In the morning I will be preaching from Malachi 2 on “Treacherous Homes.” After lunch I will be looking at Isaiah 43 where God tells us why we were made. May the Word of God dwell is us richly.
