Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Proverbs 22:10 “Cast out the scoffer, and contention will leave; yes, strife and reproach will cease.” Do you live with conflict? Perhaps there is conflict in your employment or home or extended family. Proverbs teaches us that when the person with an outwardly critical voice is removed that the conflict will end. Are you critical? Are you never satisfied? Do you continually run others down? As a family, as a church, or a community of any kind, we must stand against the scoffer so that conflict might end.\
Some health prayer requests: Randy M tells us today that his parents – Lyle and Mary Lou have Covid and have been quarantined. This is especially hard because Randy and Jan cannot communicate with them where they are currently isolated. Continue to pray for Kathy’s great nephew, Ezekiel. He is to have a follow up surgery to his liver transplant today. Three months ago I asked you to pray for my cousin Paul after his snowmobile accident. He is still struggling because of the many internal injuries and has very little movement or strength in his left hand.
Pray for God’s protection of our church against Covid and against evil. Ask God to give us wisdom. Pray for us to have love for others. I rejoice to tell you that Ann G had the privilege of leading a little girl in receiving Jesus as Savior last evening in Awana.
Tonight is TBS Spring Showcase at 6:30 p.m. There will be skits and music. Come see the accomplishments of our young people.
Men’s prayer breakfast is a week from Saturday on May 1st. This Sunday, April 25th, is Church Dinner Day! Ruth Bergen is going to give us a report on their work in Scotland after our lunch.
I was able to have breakfast with our friend Mike Manor this morning. He is going to preach for us on Sunday morning, July 11th.
