Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 51:1-4 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; according to the multitude of Your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions. 2 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. 3 For I acknowledge my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. 4 Against You, You only, have I sinned, and done this evil in Your sight— That You may be found just when You speak, and blameless when You judge. When I read this text a couple of days ago, I was reminded of my sinful state. My old man continues. He needs to be put to death. I need forgiveness and grace for each moment of every day. May my eyes be fixed on Jesus and my mind upon His Word.

Missionaries David and Patti West are our guests this Lord’s Day. They will tell us about their Argentine/Chile ministry in Sunday School, then David will be our Sunday morning preacher, and they will also share with us after church dinner. I have enjoyed David’s ministry in the past and am looking forward to a good day.

Tomorrow is Church Dinner Day!

Our church takes on a big project beginning this Friday. Matt M is leading us in doing a remodel of our boys’ basement bathroom. This 70 year old room is broken and needs an update! A sign up has been on the MOT for help. Check in with Matt or just stop by during the week to see what needs to be done. We hope to have this mostly finished in one week’s time!

Because of this project, there will be no Men’s Prayer Breakfast this month.

Pray for one another. Donna B has learned that she will have a “clip” inserted in her heart to repair one of her valves on June 23rd. Kathy R says her radiologist report on her scan does not look good – many nodules are seen in her lungs. Crystal H’s dad fainted while at a grandson’s baseball game this week. He was released from the hospital the next day, but they are uncertain of what caused this and are still running tests. Mollie H is still struggling with gunk in her lungs. Ron and Amy have been under the weather. Continue to pray for Terry S’s recovery from back surgery. Anita G’s sister passed away recently. Pray for her comfort. Pray for Carolyn’s sister Cindy as she has been told that this cancer cannot be healed. Pray for Van’s sister-in-law as she receives chemo for lymphoma. Pray for Cathy T as she is receiving radiation. Pray for Tom and Don as they minister in the jail. Pray for the Christians in Guam as they minister to many in the aftermath of the typhoon. Pray for the church in Ukraine that it may effectively minister in war time. Pray for Dave and Kathy’s son’s family – especially his girls. Pray for the S family in the loss of an aunt of Jeremy’s.

So many requests, but we have a God Who is more than equal to all of them!

Pray for the work of the Spirit and the Word in our church tomorrow. Pray for the preparation and ministry of our mission team as they go to Toronto on July 8-15th. Pray for God to protect our church. Pray for Satan’s attacks to be thwarted and Jesus to be glorified.

Lin and I are traveling to Antigo on Monday evening. I have a WFBC board meeting there on Tuesday. We will return on Wednesday.

Stop and remember who died for you. Jesus first, for the salvation of your soul. Then the men and women who have died for our liberty in the service of the United States.

Embracing Truth. Equipping Saints. Pastor
