Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Galatians 4:4 “But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth His Son … ” Schedule conflict is such a part of our world and it gets worse this time of year. We struggle to prioritize and eliminate. Even in this COVID-limited season, I find multiple agendas demanding my attention. Think about the eternal God for a moment. He is never limited by time. He understands time. He enters into time. But as God, He stands outside of time. He is never late or early. He cannot be. He is eternally in the now. Yeah, I don’t get it either. What I do know is that everything God does, when He enters into time, is exactly at the right time. Jesus came at just the right time. Jesus will return at just the right time. God answers my prayers in His time, the right time. The only issue really is whether or not we trust God today.
Pray for Tony. He had some veins in his leg removed and a blood clot brought on cellulitis. When I spoke with him yesterday, he said they were doing biopsies to determine what antibiotics would help. Tony also lost his sister-in-law last Sunday and because he is in the hospital will miss her funeral today.
Dave R is weak because of coughing from COVID. Pray for Dave and Kathy as they isolate and work to heal Dave.
Missionary Javier Hidalgo and his family, appointed to Scotland, will be ministering in Sunday School and the evening service tomorrow. I will finish 1 Peter as we consider “The True Grace.”
It’s a busy day at the parsonage! The Ladies’ Christmas Party begins this morning at 10:00 p.m. And then the Teen Christmas Activity is at the parsonage from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Praise God I am feeling well enough so that this can happen!
Next Thursday, December 10th, Trinity Baptist School will host its annual Christmas Program. The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. and will feature all ages from Preschool through Senior High. It will be a good evening. At this program we will take an offering as a Christmas blessing for the TBS teaching staff.
Walking in the Word is the only way to walk with God. May we find time for Him in the fullness of our time.
