Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 127:1 “Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.” All our striving and all our skills are worth nothing without the blessings of God. May the Lord enable our service today.
Lin and I had a good trip to Zeke’s home. Montana has Verizon! We were able to listen live to the services at TBC as we drove. We had a little ice in ND and helped a lady who had drove her car into a river, but the trip went smoothly for us.
Monday, Jon and Ruth came to visit at Zeke’s from Seely Lake. It’s about an hour and a half from Great Falls. Things seem to be going well in their church.
Wednesday is a “normal” Awana night. We are only two weeks from Awana Grand Prix on April 5th!
On Sunday, missionary Annie Ohman will be presenting her ministry in Sunday School. She wants to serve in Florida with the Spanish publishing arm of Baptist Mid Missions. We will take an offering for her at the end of church.
Pastor Charlie is our preaching this Sunday morning. Sunday is Church Dinner Day! We will look at the life of wicked King Manasseh for our devotions after church dinner.
A week from Sunday, April 2nd, is Lord’s Table Sunday. Our benevolent offering that day will go to our missionary, Phil Coolbaugh. He has asked his supporting churches to give to the costs of gaining Canadian residency. He says it will cost his family about $20,000. Although this is a large amount of money, it will save money in the long run because he intends to remain in this ministry in Canada.
A big thank you to the many, many people who gave and purchased items for our school’s auction. Pastor Shaeffer announced on Sunday that we raised about $9,000. He also told of receiving a grant associated with Covid relief. These monies help us keep our tuition where it is and will enable our school to better serve in the future. Praise God.
