Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, I rejoice in the good day yesterday at Trinity Baptist. I thoroughly enjoyed the preaching ministry of Darryl Mayes in Sunday School and Jeremy Shaeffer in the evening. God is good. 

I want to rejoice with you about God’s financial blessings upon this ministry. I purposely don’t talk about money often, but from time to time it is good for me to remind you of what is happening in this ministry through money.

Trinity Baptist School has announced a 52 Day Nehemiah challenge. We were given a donation of $1,000 for the school with the suggestion that it be used to challenge others to give. Well, the challenge was accepted. On Grandparent’s Day, two other families also gave $1,000. to TBS. During the past two weeks, several other gifts have been received designated to Patriot Boosters. TBS budgets $9,000 per year, $750 per month in gifts. This is a needed part of our budget.  We rejoice in what God has done and pray for His continued blessing of our school in months to come. Join the Nehemiah challenge!

On Wednesday evening Awana held its annual pie auction. Last year’s proceeds were used to buy building materials for an orphanage in Rosarito, Mexico that were used by our June mission trip. Commander Braker reminded us that every other year the proceeds go to help our Awana provide extras – like the Awana store and supplies for Awana Olympics. Over 40 pies were sold this year for over $2,500. This will greatly strengthen our Awana for the next 24 months. One person said to me, “People were not buying pies.” He was right. They were generously giving to TBC Awana. Thank you!

I praise God for the generous giving of God’s faithful people. I don’t give much to other worthy benevolent causes because I am convinced that the missionaries and ministries of Trinity Baptist are my best giving investment. I have recently been especially thrilled with the reports we are getting from our missionaries. Remember, if you would give to the fund that supports the missionary budget of Trinity Baptist, you must designate.

Praise God for His goodness to us. God has been merciful and kind.
