Jean W’s epidural was yesterday. The doctor told her to rest and that it might take two weeks to take full effect. She and her son Todd are driving to Arizona beginning tomorrow. Pray for her healing and their safety.
Missionary Tim S asks for pray for his brother in law and a team who are going into the war zone of Ukraine to minister in a village where a pastor was killed by shrapnel. This has led to a powerful opportunity for the gospel. Pray for this team’s ministry and safety.
My Uncle Dave had a scope of his throat yesterday. Though the doctor is pleased with his progress, he is going to keep Dave in a rehab setting for two more weeks and then have another scope.
Surgery to remove my kidney is scheduled for March 2nd down at Froedtert. Pray for health and strength for me going into this surgery and for the appointments and details that surround this. Pray for my family and staff as they pick up the slack!
We announced Sunday that we are going to begin a children’s choir. Over the next few months it will meet at the same times as the adult choir. It is for children from our church up through 6th grade. Sarah and I are going to lead this. If you’d like to help/lead, please talk to me. We will begin at 5:00 p.m. in the auditorium. We will be singing in some evening services and at least once in the morning. More details coming!
This Saturday is Men’s Prayer Breakfast. We begin at 8:00 p.m. with food and conversation. We are done praying before 9:30 p.m. Please sign up on the MOT or talk to me so I know how much food to prepare.
This Sunday evening is our Congregation’s quarterly business meeting. I rejoice that we will see an outstanding financial report. Come participate in what is going on!
Pray for Pastor Charlie. He is in Plymouth, MN taking his first of 8 doctorate modules. He will return late Friday evening.
