Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Lamentations 1:18 “The Lord is righteous, for I rebelled against His commandment. Hear now, all peoples, and behold my sorrow; My virgins and my young men have gone into captivity.” In Jeremiah’s lament, Jerusalem owns the reason for her grief. She also owns that the Lord is righteous. Regardless of our circumstances, the Lord is always righteous.

Come to the church for some good fellowship, food, and fun on Saturday, December 31st. Bring food to share and favorite games to play. This is a whole family activity, from babies to grandfathers. We will begin at noon. Some of us will leave soon after it gets dark. Others may continue into the evening. I’ve been working to get things accomplished so I can enjoy this fun day.

Our Sunday School classes, resume this Sunday at 8:45 a.m. We have classes for 2 year olds through adults. We have two current adult classes, one on Ecclesiology (doctrines of the church) and one is a walk through Jeremiah.

On January 1st, I begin a new series through Lamentations that I will call Understanding Grief. It is a special Sunday because we have both baptisms and Lord’s Table! Our Lord’s Table second offering will be for the Charis and New Hope pregnancy centers. There is no evening service on account of it being New Years’ Day.

I look forward to the challenges and opportunities of 2023. God is with us and He alone is righteous.

Embracing Truth. Equipping Saints.
