Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family: Rain, rain, go away! I know, I know. Every drop of rain is a gift that many people of the world treasure dearly and so we ought to be thankful, but right now in Wisconsin … We have two events planned for this weekend – Saturday evening’s adult mini-golf and ice cream at Kelly’s activity, Sunday evening’s Sing N S’mores – that require less rain. We are supposed to get an inch or more between Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon. Enough to make both of these events way too soggy.
For the adult mini-golf activity, let’s meet tomorrow evening at 6p at Fondy Sports Complex as planned. If the weather cooperates, we will golf. If not, we will decide where to go for french fries before we go to Kelly’s – or maybe just go straight to Kelly’s! So rain or shine, we will have our adult fellowship. Don’t cancel those babysitters!
On Sunday evening, if the forecasted rains come, we will relocate to the southeast classroom at church. We will have Sing N Sweets instead of Sing N S’mores. Bring cookies and testimonies to share and pick you favorite hymns to sing out of our old blue hymnbooks.
Jeremy tells me his dad is back in the hospital to remove fluid from his lungs. This is the second time this week. Nursing tells the Shaeffers that this is not a good sign. Please pray for Mark and Jan Shaeffer and their families. Pray for Jeremy and Amber and their family as they respond with grace to the hand of God.
