Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family: Why are you here? What is your purpose? How have you chosen to fulfill your life’s purpose today? OK, I’ve been reading. And I’ve been thinking. It’s good for me to ask myself questions like “How have I partnered with God to do as He has chosen this day?”
I rejoice in the blessings of Resurrection Sunday. I hope you were encouraged in your walk with Jesus. I thank the many who glorified God by serving in one way or another.
Tomorrow evening is the last regular night of Awana for this year. Young people who are almost finished with a book need to crank it out tomorrow night! This means it is also the last night of Bible study at the parsonage for this year. Next Wednesday, May 1st, is Awana Awards. Dinner begins at 5:30p and Awards are at 6:30p. Two weeks from tomorrow, May 8th, is Trinity Baptist School Award night and Kindergarten Graduation. We have 3 graduates!
This coming Sunday, April 28, is church dinner day! Dave and June Kimmel will be presenting their unique ministry of teaching on mission fields around the world. You will enjoy their stories of how God has led and used them. Dave will be our adult Sunday School teacher and our after dinner speaker on Sunday.
Enjoy the lake flies! They are back in my yard. I have to be careful or I’ll breath them in on my walk from the house to my office. Even the lake flies have a time and purpose! If my Creator finds joy in them, perhaps I can too.
